Junior Club Captain - Will Dwyer

Provides the link between the BUCC Junior Committee and the junior players
The Junior Club Captain represents the views of the junior players at BUCC and assists in the development of the club through providing advice and guidance from a junior cricketers perspective

Duties, Values and Behaviours - BUCC Junior Club Captain

Offering help and support to others eg: set-up grounds, help other volunteers at club events
Is a positive role model for all members of the club
Communicates with fellow team members and provides support and advice where required
Welcomes new junior members to the club
Is approachable & listens so that all junior cricketers can talk/contact about issues and ideas they may have
Presents The Junior Club Captain award to BUCC junior player (U12 boys/U13 girls player) who has displayed future JCC attributes
Loves the game of cricket and his/her club

This season we welcome back coaches Stuart Gara and Yasas Tillakaratne to the club. Yasas is also available for private lessons at the Hurlingham nets and please contact him directly if you would like to take this up.

Also a big thank you to all the parents who have volunteered for coaching and team management already this season. If you would also like to volunteer please let us know. All assistance is most welcome!

For those interested in coaching there will be Cricket Australia Level 1 Coaching Courses starting in September. The club will reimburse the cost for those completing the course. Click here for details. A number of us are already booked in and please email us if you are interested in doing the one day course.
